We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a complex, multi-year defence technology development program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full program lifecycle from planning and execution to integration and delivery.
- Lead planning, execution and delivery of a multi-year defence simulation and training program.
- Define scope, objectives, schedules and resources; oversee system design, integration, testing and milestone achievement.
- Ensure adherence to defence standards, project frameworks and security protocols.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and cost controls; lead multidisciplinary teams and negotiate contracts and supplier agreements.
- 10+ years of experience in project/program management within the defence or aerospace sector.
- Experience managing complex, high-value, multi-year programs with multiple subcontractors and international supply chains.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects under defence contracting models and project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong technical understanding of defence simulation, training systems or related technologies.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- A varied, fast-paced role with an innovative leader in mission-critical aerospace and defence products.
- A team of skilled and motivated people committed to innovation, collaboration and national security outcomes.
