About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Specimen Collector to join our team in Collection Centres and Hospitals across the Greater Brisbane Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with care and compassion, ensuring a positive experience
  • Receive urine and faeces samples, maintaining accurate records
  • Record patient information, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols
  • Complete online training via our eLearning training system, staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in other healthcare settings, fostering strong relationships
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or front-end reception
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to service excellence and patient care
  • First Aid Certificate and willingness to increase skill base as required
