Job Description

Crown Technologies is a specialist company providing integrated electrical and gas management solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the mining sector. Their capabilities span design and manufacture of electrical switchgear, control systems, and junction boxes, as well as the development and maintenance of gas drainage systems. They also offer onsite electrical maintenance, instrument calibration, installations, and full project management services.

This is a perfect step up for someone with a couple of years' experience looking to broaden their skills across engineering, planning, and delivery. You will be involved in projects from concept to completion, working closely with engineers, production teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec, and on budget.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and coordinating jobs across engineering, production and installation
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to clarify scope and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, including technical documentation and drawing control
  • Develop technical documentation / production packs for workshop manufacture
  • Overseeing commissioning and site installation activities
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an electrical project or design environment
  • Confident working across both technical and coordination aspects of a project
  • Familiar with interpreting electrical drawings, preparing technical documents, and liaising with clients/suppliers
  • Exposure to site environments and a good understanding of installation/commissioning is a plus
  • Comfortable using M365, and ideally some experience with MRP/ERP systems or project tools like Smartsheet
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and willing to roll your sleeves up when needed
