Job Title:

Payroll Systems Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operational support, payroll configuration and administration for the Chris21 system, including the creation, updating and testing of all payroll related data.
  • Utilise knowledge, experience, payroll practices and procedures to identify needs and create workable system solutions within Chris21.
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT partners and providers.
  • Manage the training of all Chris21 users nationally.
  • Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure compliance of Chris21 with payroll laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise regularly with P&C team on issues, recommendations and metrics defined for the implementation and on-going system utilisation and improvement.
  • Project Manage for new Chris21 modules and development changes including designing and testing new configuration in Chris21 and integration with other systems through payroll processes, excel analysis and reporting.
  • Assist the Head of Payroll in multiple payroll projects, including Time and Attendance changes, pay cycle analysis, and new Enterprise Agreement changes.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a national, multi-site, multi-divisional business.
  • Technical proficiency with Chris21 system including with configuration and integration.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills to sort and manage large quantities of data, quickly identify issues, problems or inconsistencies with data and take action to resolve.
  • Experience with Kronos or PageUp advantageous.
