The Role:

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to drive the next phase of our growth. This is an ongoing leadership position, requiring a strong track record in senior management, preferably in innovation, community, fitness or a related sector.

The successful candidate will report to the Board and hold full responsibility for our operations and performance. You'll balance strategic leadership with on-the-ground involvement, ensuring that both the big picture and daily details are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our strategic direction, financial performance, and reporting to the Board.
  • Manage and support a multi-disciplinary team across innovation, community, events, and hospitality.
  • Oversee budgets, compliance, and governance obligations.
  • Build strong partnerships with community, sporting, and government stakeholders.
  • Drive membership growth, program participation, and community engagement.
  • Foster a positive, values-driven culture that empowers staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while keeping focus on long-term sustainability and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Senior management experience, ideally in innovation, community, fitness or a related sector.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and reporting at Board/Committee level.
  • A proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to engage in day-to-day operational needs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for innovation, community-focused work and making a positive impact.
