The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil & Drainage Engineer to deliver discipline-specific projects, including modelling, reporting, and design solutions and services.

You will work on drainage, flood risk, water resource engineering, and management projects that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.

This role has a significant impact on our market position and ability to win top projects, leveraging your skills and those of the wider team in the Rivers and Water Management service area.

You will contribute to account management, profitability, and reputation by developing products and services that help build business and fortify our position in the market.

Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in civil engineering for stormwater drainage, rivers, and water management projects, with software skills in DRAINS, MUSIC, 12D, AutoCad, and TUFLOW
  • Project management experience, with ability to manage projects independently
  • Working towards chartered engineering or 5 years of experience in civil and drainage design
  • Technical and practical engineering skills in Drainage, Stormwater Management, River Engineering, and Water Management
  • Ability to provide direction, advice, and mentor others in the team
Work Arrangements:

Regular travel is required to Newcastle or other NSW destinations, and occasionally internationally for project assignments or meetings.
