Senior Governance Advisor Role
We are seeking a Senior Governance Advisor to support the delivery of corporate governance obligations, organisational planning and performance reporting, and policy development. The successful candidate will collaborate with business areas across the department to drive governance outcomes and produce high-quality reports.

This role involves coordinating and consolidating reporting updates, providing advice on planning, performance and reporting matters, ensuring departmental plans meet required standards, managing multiple deadlines, and preparing reporting materials in advance.

  • Developing and implementing governance strategies to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Providing expert advice on governance processes and workflows.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support governance activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of corporate governance processes, be able to manage multiple projects, and possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinating reporting updates and ensuring timely submission.
  2. Providing expert advice on governance matters.
  3. Developing and maintaining governance policies and procedures.
  4. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in governance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
