Speech Pathologist Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to provide services and support needs in the community for clients aged 0-65 years.

You will work with a diverse range of clientele where they live, work, learn and play, including their homes, workplaces or schools, as well as out in the broader community.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide flexible speech pathology services to clients in their homes, workplaces or schools
  • Work with a variety of clientele, including children and adults
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with the relevant Speech Pathology association
  • A broad range of clinical skills
  • Patient, service-oriented and people-focused approach
  • Highly approachable and good listening skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to build a loyal caseload and balance mentoring requirements
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and educate across service streams
  • Active listener and critical thinking skills
  • Experience within the healthcare sector
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
