About This Role

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Vocational Services Officer. In this dynamic and innovative role, you will be responsible for facilitating programs that address the rehabilitation needs of individuals in custody.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting or coordinating programs, preferably within a rehabilitation or social services field. You will be expected to communicate effectively and sensitively with diverse groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of vocational services using technology and innovation to shape service functions.
  • Contribute to ongoing strategic planning, implementation, and improvement of prison operations in a changing environment.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure offender management issues and requirements are being met.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience supporting or coordinating programs, preferably within a rehabilitation or social services field.
  • Ability to work with people who are difficult to engage in both individual and group settings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
