Job DescriptionThis position involves leading cases according to the commission's quality and risk management practices. In addition to staff within their own teams, Case Managers are supported by multi-disciplinary teams including policy, quality assurance and legal advisory teams with subject matter expertise.
In broad terms, Case Managers have responsibility for:
- Leading a collaborative case team that works effectively with specialist advisors and utilises the commission's decision-making processes and systems to deliver timely advice and recommendations to the senior leadership.
- Ensuring investigatory rigour and effective case management principles are met through evidence-based, transparent, independent and impartial decision-making including utilising the commission's quality control mechanisms.
- Producing, supervising and/or co-ordinating all case outputs including case management planning; report writing; producing case records (evidence, analysis, risks and issues, briefing notes, meeting notes etc.); and case communications (circulation of critical information, formal advice received, meeting requests, agendas, plans, relevant submissions etc.).
