Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package of $85k - $105k, inclusive of superannuation.
In addition to the salary, this role offers a 6-month ongoing contract with options to extend. S26 Transfer is also considered.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves guiding managers and employees through sensitive and complex workplace matters. The APS5 – APS6 Case Manager will play a key role in managing injury cases, including early intervention and return-to-work programs, as well as overseeing performance and behaviour case management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management, particularly in managing rehabilitation or performance and behaviour matters.
- Manage injury cases, including early intervention and return-to-work programs
- Oversee performance and behaviour case management
- Provide expert advice on sensitive workplace issues, including conflict resolution, underperformance, and complaints
- Support managers in navigating challenging workplace dynamics and advocating for early resolution of cases
The APS5/6 Case Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant Commonwealth legislation and internal policies. This will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive an integrated approach to case management.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and refinement of guidelines, policies, and processes within the team.

Your ability to navigate sensitive workplace issues with discretion and empathy will be key, as will your in-depth knowledge of relevant policies, practices, and legislation.
You will be a confident communicator, able to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
