Laboratory Professional

The primary function of this role is to carry out all necessary sampling, inspection, monitoring and testing procedures as required. This includes:

• Assisting with and conducting required sampling, inspection, monitoring and testing of all salt and brine samples against specifications;
• Ensuring ongoing maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment;
• Monitoring site wash brine;
• Supporting manufacturing departments by preparing and supplying additives for use in production;
• Reviewing and developing internal HSEQ and laboratory procedures and providing training to relevant staff;
• Assisting in the investigation and resolution of both internal and external complaints;
• Abiding by and following the company's HSEQ Policies and Procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Completion of Year 11 with a pass in Mathematics, Science and English;
• Excellent computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel;
• Experience and/or working knowledge of HACCP;
• Driver's Licence;
• Organisational and planning skills;
• Investigation skills with the ability to identify root cause;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Interpersonal/communication skills;
• Strong Teamwork and self-starting qualities;
• Be physically fit and willing to undertake pre-employment medical testing including drug and alcohol testing.
