Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for the department and the company.
- Strategic Planning: Provide input in the Company's strategic plan and deliver brand and channel profitability to aid in strategic decision making.
- Long-Term Financial Planning: Lead the development of long-term financial planning to guide CAPEX decision making.
- Department Budgeting: Create department budgets based on the approved Business Plan.
- Cash Flow Management: Maintain a regular review of income and expenditure and manage cash flow to meet future business needs.
- Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely statutory accounting and management reporting to the CEO and Board, on a monthly basis.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure preparation of the tax returns, including defining tax policies and liaising with the Company's external advisers.
- Financial Systems: Develop and maintain financial systems, including establishing information systems to support the function.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience across financial planning.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired but not essential.
- Analytical and Project Management Skills: Strong analytical and project management experience.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in accounting.
