Sheet Metal Fabricator Wanted

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
  • Operate shears, plasma machines, press brakes, welding machines and other hand tools.
  • Loading and unloading trucks of material for installation throughout the jobsite.
  • Hanging steel supports from ceiling joists and concrete slabs to hold ducts in place.
  • Measuring and marking dimensions on metal sheets.
  • Drilling holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets.
  • Fabricating or altering parts at construction sites as needed.
  • Cutting and shaping metal to fit specifications.
  • Reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine work sequence and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5-8 years of mechanical contracting experience.
  • Ability to work from blueprints, sketches and oral instructions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC piping methods and practices.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
