Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have experience with shearing, forming, handling, bending, and welding thin sheet metal during the fabrication process.

This includes operating various hand tools such as shears, plasma machines, press brakes, welding machines, and other equipment.

  • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
  • Oversee and direct the work of laborers when needed.
  • Load and unload trucks of material to be staged and installed throughout the jobsite.
  • Hang steel supports from ceiling joists and concrete slabs to hold ducts in place.
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
  • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets.
  • Install metal ducts with supportive frameworks.
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites on an as-needed basis.
  • Fasten seams and joints by welding, bolting, or riveting.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate work completion.
  • Identify and address any safety hazards or errors in equipment or structures.
