About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team as our Systems Accountant.

This is a critical role within our business and will require a very high level of technical ability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain the financial systems and all key system interfaces/reporting systems
  2. Involvement in several ongoing projects ranging from routine upgrades, maintenance, automation, process improvement and streamlining the financial process
  3. Work closely with our Digital team to maintain the stability of the financial system
  4. Ongoing functional support and training to our end-users
  5. Ad hoc requests for information and analysis from various business units
  6. Manage and resolve all finance systems issues and queries
About You

You have a strong systems accounting background and have been the key contact for finance systems in an organisation.

Your excellent technical accounting skills and genuine passion for system management will see you succeed.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy providing exceptional customer support and training to end-users.

You are a self-motivated individual who likes to be continuously learning.

Requirements
  1. High level of systems accounting experience
  2. CPA/CA qualified with strong systems and technical background
  3. Experience working with a demonstrated knowledge of SAP (or ERP equivalent)
  4. Cognos Analytics or equivalent experience
  5. Experience with system analysis with the ability to identify data patterns
  6. High-level attention to detail
  7. Confident in dealing with various stakeholders and ability to train other staff
  8. SQL knowledge would be advantageous
