Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of our cutting-edge sensors. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test and evaluation plans and procedures
  • Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications
  • Ensure all equipment and products meet stringent health and safety regulations
  • Evaluate existing processes and provide recommendations for enhancement
  • Develop robust maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures
  • Demonstrate proactive initiative in staying abreast of advancements in Electronics
  • Monitor processes and systems, establish effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers
  • Write specifications, instructions, reports, and handle necessary administrative duties
  • Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc
  • Experienced in PCB design using Altium Designer
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the PCB assembly process with expertise in PCB component soldering, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Requirements
  • Bachelor Electrical, Electronics, Computer Systems, Embedded Systems or related discipline
  • Australian Citizenship, PR Holder
  • PCB design using Altium Designer (essential)
  • Experience in programming in embedded C, C++, and python
  • Analogue and Digital circuit design
  • Miniaturised electronics
  • Debugging and fault-finding circuits
  • Surface mount assembly and rework
