Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Educational Leader to cultivate a collaborative culture within our dedicated team. This role is essential in creating an engaging atmosphere where work feels like play, promoting a sense of belonging, and encouraging diversity while providing opportunities for our team to explore their unique paths.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and assess educational programs grounded in a robust understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Provide mentorship to educators, ensuring high standards in curriculum development and documentation.
- Engage children through age-appropriate activities and experiences that cater to their developmental stages.
- Apply various early childhood theories, recognizing that there is no universal approach.
- Support educators in understanding the image of the child and how to foster this perspective.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, welcoming diverse viewpoints and constructive feedback while reflecting on best practices.
- Adapt to varying routines and assist across multiple rooms as needed.
- Ensure that each room within the centre is presented as a welcoming and safe environment.
Qualifications Required
- Current ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
- Valid Working with Children's Check.
- Current certifications in Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid, or a willingness to obtain them.
- Completion of Child Protection Training or a willingness to undertake this training.
