Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations and Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Agricultural Appointments.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all operational facets, including team leadership, supply chain management, inventory optimisation, and process enhancement. Your key focus will be on implementing strategic initiatives to elevate productivity, minimise costs, and champion continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Inspire collaboration, foster a culture of continuous improvement and support, to achieve exceptional results.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, manage resources, and monitor KPIs to achieve operational excellence and sales targets.
  • Supply Chain Management: Lead product selection, procurement, pricing strategies, and performance analysis to maximise market impact.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Ensure efficient delivery, optimise inventory management, and enhance customer interactions.
  • Strategic Insights: Develop comprehensive reports, analyse data, and track KPIs to guide strategic planning.
  • Growth Opportunities: Foster relationships and streamline operations to support sustained business growth.
  • Sales & Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate on innovative marketing campaigns and enhance product knowledge dissemination.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Produce detailed performance reports, leverage data for strategic decisions, and continuously monitor key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, agricultural studies, or a related field preferred, but not essential.
  • At least 5 years of operational management experience, preferably within the agricultural sector.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, Google Workspace, and ERP systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary Range:
