Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team. As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high level of patient care.

About the Role:

  • You will provide vaccinations (flu and whooping cough) and manage medicinal cannabis services, working closely with our skilled team including an experienced Dispense Technician.
  • A strong communicator, you will maintain excellent relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • With a focus on community service, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance our pharmacy's role in the local health landscape.

Key Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA full registration as a Pharmacist is essential.
  • You will have confident leadership skills, with experience in managing a sole pharmacist operation.
  • A warm and approachable attitude is vital, as you will work closely with patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with Fred NXT is preferred, but not required.
  • Vaccination accreditation is also required.

Work-Life Balance:

  • Our roster includes Monday-Friday shifts only, with no evening work.
  • Saturday morning shifts are kept to a minimum, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Occasional midweek time off may be available.
