Homecare Coordinator Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in creating a well-organized and efficient environment for individuals with disabilities.

As a Homecare Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising staff and services to provide positive support and promote independence.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and planning support for people with disabilities to participate in life areas based on individual goals.

You will also need to advocate on behalf of clients and their families to support inclusion, participation, and respect for rights.

Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medication treatments and therapies or seeking medical assistance according to protocols.

Other key responsibilities include developing and maintaining team morale and effectiveness, providing mentoring and best practice knowledge.

And managing performance management and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and plan support for people with disabilities to participate in life areas based on individual goals.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hold a Certificate 4 in Disability (CHC43121).
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate and Victorian Drivers Licence.
