About This Role
Our client is a retail and services business with an impressive growth trajectory. As a key player, they seek a Business/Commercial Analyst to support their leadership team in strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Analyse business and financial data to inform strategy development, process improvement, and management decision-making.
- Develop new reporting capabilities and analyse business and financial performance KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the creation of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse budgets, forecasts, and other business data, providing reports with recommendations to senior leaders and the Board.
- Fundamentally model scenarios to facilitate informed decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or analytical roles.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior-level executives.
- Examples of analytical work on your resume, demonstrating achievements beyond your core responsibilities.
- Experience in retail or multi-site environments is highly valued.
