About the Role

The Nurse Manager, Level 3, is a key position within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, responsible for providing corporate support services to nursing/midwifery practice and services. This includes staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes, and information systems management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nursing/midwifery expertise for specified individual patients/clients and/or groups/populations.
  • Provide clinical leadership for an area of practice and may work in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Act as an expert consultant in nursing for the purpose of facilitating the provision and maintenance of nursing management information systems.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of nursing management information systems, policy, and planning.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
