About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our clients and leading a team of support staff to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and deliver high-quality nursing care to our clients
- Lead and supervise support provision for daily living in accordance with each resident's care/service plan
- Assess resident's condition and functional ability and ensure risks are identified, managed, and evaluated
- Provide leadership, direction, support, mentoring, and coaching to Personal Carers, Enrolled Nurses, Hotel Service staff, Lifestyle, Maintenance, and Administration staff on each shift
- Ensure there is a clear and succinct handover from shift to shift and relevant documentation in the 7-day handover sheet correlates with the progress notes, alert notification form, care plan suggested change forms, and risk management plans
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration. You will possess excellent communication skills, a high level of English literacy, and the ability to read written instructions and write clearly and concisely. You will also have exceptional time management skills, outstanding problem-solving skills, and a high level of understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia.
