Enterprise Risk Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key player in ensuring a sound risk and compliance culture, you will be instrumental in driving stronger risk outcomes for our organisation.

This role will be primarily focused on managing and supporting business units in embedding and operating risk frameworks, with a particular emphasis on the Marketing & Enablement functions and assisting the Enterprise Risk Management team to create and oversee robust governance, risk and compliance frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a strong and highly regarded Risk Management function.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance across the organisation.
  • Provide effective challenge and review through provision of risk management expertise and best practice advice aligned to our risk frameworks and risk appetite.
  • Oversight of business planning activities, fostering enduring relationships with stakeholders.
  • Deliver insightful risk reporting, including to senior leadership and board committees.
  • Maintain existing risk tools within relevant operational risk and compliance systems.

Essential Skills:

  • Significant experience in risk consulting or similar roles, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Proven analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving in complex environments.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioural changes across all levels of the organisation.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or related discipline.
