Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to support and strengthen enterprise risk management across its operations.

In this dynamic role, you will help minimize threats and maximize opportunities by facilitating risk workshops, supporting policy and framework reviews, and managing risk systems and treatment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate enterprise risk management activities including workshops, reviews, and treatment planning
  • Support the development and implementation of our Risk Management Framework and associated policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across compliance, sustainability, insurance, and audit functions
  • Lead the Risk Academy and mentor staff on risk best practices and frameworks
  • Support development of risk metrics and performance indicators
  • Maintain and enhance risk systems, tools, and reporting dashboards
  • Provide clear, decision-useful risk insights to senior leaders and executives

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • Certified in Risk Management, with 5+ years of enterprise risk experience
  • Experience working within the Defence Industry
  • Eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1)
  • Skilled in risk management, compliance, and business continuity
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
