About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, working for the collection department located in Wollongong Public Hospital.

The collection department provides services to all inpatients at Shellharbour, Bulli and Coledale Public Hospitals, as well as offering home collection services to the Illawarra region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection of blood samples from inpatients;
  • Maintenance of accurate records and timely reporting;
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient service delivery;
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • National Certificate in Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2) or equivalent;
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
