Job Opportunity

  • Champion a collaborative risk and compliance culture through effective stakeholder engagement, awareness, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement an effective Risk Management Framework that aligns to enterprise principles and practices.
  • Establish a proactive risk and issue management process and technology solution to identify, assess, and manage risks across the value chain.
  • Provide guidance on risk and issues ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Establish and maintain a library of all risks and controls and implement a technology solution to house the risk and control library.
  • Monitor and review risks and controls and contribute to the risk and control self-assessment process.
  • Develop regular reports highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations and define key risk indicators and metrics to measure and evaluate risk initiatives.
  • Develop presentations and dashboards for various forums and committees.
  • Partner effectively with senior leaders, third party providers, and business units to support and promote an effective Three Lines of Defence model.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory change initiatives and emerging best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance management, control assurance, and digital operations.
  • Demonstrate a strong ownership mindset to progress work without direction.
  • Proven experience in risk and compliance or equivalent role (audit and assurance) in large complex organisations and/or outsourced environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements, industry frameworks, standards, and best practice.
  • Exceptional ability to actively listen, synthesise complex information, and respond accurately.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-change environment, drive structure where it does not yet exist, and adapt approach.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems, identify trends, assess potential impacts, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management and change management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing processes, systems, or tools requiring engagement and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven experience in delivering presentations, dashboards, and Executive reports.
  • Confident communicator and ability to influence and develop and maintain constructive relationships at all levels.
