About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Hilton Sydney. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, while also supervising staff and contributing to the overall success of our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of high-quality food, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of menus, ensuring that they are aligned with our brand standards and customer preferences.
  • Contribute to the control of food costs, improving gross profit margins and achieving departmental and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain good working relationships.
  • Assist in the training and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie role.
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade commercial cookery qualification.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
