
Infrastructure Development Specialist

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering vital infrastructure for the region. You will be responsible for supporting the construction and maintenance of roads and transport infrastructure.
You will undertake manual laboring tasks, operate small tools and machinery, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and compliant outcomes for the community.
Your work will directly support the safety, accessibility, and liveability of the area.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage); experience operating small handheld tools, equipment, and field machinery
- Proven ability to follow instructions within a team environment and communicate effectively with customers
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications and devices, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering operational and maintenance services
- Hold and maintain a C Class Driver's Licence, Traffic Control Combo (Stop/Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans), and WHS Induction Card with a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment; Level 1 Accredited Chainsaw course
