Key Roles and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of departments, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and driving continuous improvement.

  • Support health and safety initiatives and implement safe systems of work.
  • Manage colleague issues with empathy and discretion, escalating to HR as necessary.
  • Oversee the management of departments, including direct reports and the colleague population.
  • Drive departmental and individual performance to meet locally agreed expectations.
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in working to and implementing strict health and safety policies.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and leading by example.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
