The role of a transportation specialist is pivotal in ensuring the efficient delivery of packages to customers. This position requires exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Generating daily load reports, including load details and delay reasons.\
  • Communicating with the Outbound dock team and NOC regarding delay reasons.\
  • Collaborating with multiple carriers and their contacts for site-related escalations.\
  • Developing and communicating daily load plans to various stakeholders.\
  • Monitoring trailer arrivals and departures to ensure timely delivery.\
  • Consolidating data from multiple sources to generate reports and identify patterns.\
  • Maintaining yard organization and safety by engaging with carrier drivers and delivery drivers.\

Requirements:\
  • \
  • Experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment.\
  • High school diploma or equivalent.\
  • Able to lift up to 20 kilos, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.\
  • Will work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.\
