We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our organisation.

Job Description:
  • Manage and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency and security.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor system configurations and updates ensuring they meet organisational requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-based applications and infrastructure ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux systems with other platforms ensuring seamless integration.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards for security and data management.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to system planning, upgrades, and capacity management to ensure continued business growth.
  • Support the organisation's technology goals through proactive system maintenance and improvement initiatives.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in Linux system administration and management ideally with 5+ years experience. They will also be proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Perl and have experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

They will possess knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Linux environments, a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, the candidate must be an Australian citizen with the ability to be NV1 Cleared.
