About the Role

We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join our Regency Park team with The Smith's Snackfood Company on a permanent full-time basis. As part of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product, and troubleshooting and monitoring the palletising automation and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Managing production lines, equipment calibration, and monitoring
  • Preparing and completing accurate records
  • Cleaning and housekeeping
  • Committed to quality assurance and completion of quality checks as required

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of previous experience with automated machinery, palletising, and robot operation within a food manufacturing environment
  • A mechanically minded individual with a high aptitude in automated equipment operation
  • An understanding of HACCP and GMP with strong attention to detail, safety, and reliability
  • A flexible and energetic approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time while maintaining safe working techniques
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous
