Support Services Coordinator

We are seeking a Support Services Coordinator in Ayr and surrounding areas to provide support on matters of personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and more. This role involves administering medications, transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility. The successful candidate will also assist with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry or meal preparation, as well as community engagement, such as attending doctors appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- Administer medications as required
- Assist with transfers using hoists and slide sheets
- Provide general assistance with mobility
- Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
- Engage in community activities with clients
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible hours on a roster system, be great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person, and be calm and confident in all different environments. You will also have the ability to provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients.
Requirements- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
