Payments Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Business Analyst to lead our team in delivering high-quality payment solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in banking payments, including strong knowledge of payment systems, standards, and methodologies.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments domain is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.

The role requires gathering and analyzing requirements, interacting with clients, and supporting the development and testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough requirement analysis and engage in client interactions to gather business needs.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive BRD (Business Requirement Document), FRD (Functional Requirement Document), and SRS (Software Requirement Specification).
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test cases are mapped to requirements and support UAT activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep domain expertise in banking payments, including ISO XML20022 and SWIFT messaging standards.
  • Hands-on experience with RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, and domestic payment systems.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, clearing systems, and fund transfer mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in requirement documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with practical exposure to Agile practices.
