Beauty Retail Operations Manager Full Time Position

The retail operations manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our beauty stores in Rouse hill and castle Hill, ensuring stock levels and presentation are maintained as well as being the first point of contact for junior employee queries.

  • Be responsible for all retail shops' daily operation.
  • Ensure store/shop is presentable at all times for management.
  • Assist with managing staff rosters.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Manage stock control and inventory.
  • Maintain sales targets.
  • Maintain store manager job results by coaching, counselling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints to maintain the store's reputation.
  • Manage refunds and balance transactions at close of business with management.
  • Contribute to decision-making on promotion needs; enhance sales performance; clearance sales needs; studying trends.
  • Liaise with head office.
  • Maximise profitability for the business through promotional activities on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as retail manager or retail operation manager at least 3 years.
  • Sales/product awareness.
  • Understand buyer trends and behaviour.
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
  • Ability to work well in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
