Retail Makeup Artist Job Description

As a skilled and creative retail makeup artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating an inspiring in-store experience. You will work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality visual merchandising and contribute to the success of our business. If you are passionate about beauty and have a strong desire to succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.

In this role, you will combine your technical expertise and passion for people to provide a personalized and welcoming experience for our customers. You will work as part of a dynamic team to create impactful in-store events and ensure that the store meets our high standards of visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inspirational and authentic customer service
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business goals
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising
  • Participate in in-store events and promotions

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in retail makeup artistry is desirable but not essential. What's more important is your ability to provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with the team.

Qualifications:
  • Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (desirable)
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
