Senior Operations Manager

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee a team of 4 direct reports within the Upstream (USP) operations at our Brisbane site. This site specializes in manufacturing biopharmaceutical products while adhering to international quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Foster and develop a skilled team through effective leadership and coaching.
- Promote growth and development of the USP team with a focus on talent diversification.
- Achieve consistent improvement in key performance indicators for Right the First Time and On Time Delivery.
- Assume responsibility for the USP Supervisor when they are unavailable, demonstrating strong leadership and accountability.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of site operations and explore innovative processing techniques.
- Maintain open communication across various settings.
- Demonstrate independence and apply a structured approach when addressing technical or personnel challenges.
- Tertiary education in science or engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the bio/pharmaceutical sector.
- Proven knowledge and experience working within a cGMP environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to influence and build effective teams.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
