Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process plant design, as well as demonstrated success in the delivery of studies and projects.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $180,000. Job DescriptionThis role involves working closely with the Process Department Manager to deliver high-quality process engineering services to our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the process engineering deliverables for preliminary and detailed design studies and projects;
- Supporting the engineering team in delivering projects and studies;
- Providing input and support for business development processes;
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships;
- Technical ownership of discipline deliverables for the scope, including ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, codes, specifications, and industry standards and designs;
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A degree qualification in a relevant field;
- At least 15 years' experience in mineral processing and commissioning;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs;
- Competency in creating mass and energy balances using Metsim, SysCAD or similar software;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines;
Prior experience in gold process design and base metal hydrometallurgy is preferred, as is having the requisite experience and professional affiliation to be a Competent Person in accordance with JORC 2012 and/or Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of working collaboratively in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
