Senior Process Engineer: Design and Delivery Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our process team, you will be responsible for delivering design projects in the Oil and Gas industry with a strong technical background in Chemical/Process Engineering.

About the Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with fellow Senior and Principal Engineers and the Process Manager to provide expertise and manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and contributing to the development of their skills.
  • Leading single-discipline projects and ensuring timely completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure project success.
  • Preparing proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works, including hours estimation and scope definition.
  • Participating in QA activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Source new clients and leverage existing relationships to promote the Process offering and drive opportunities.
About You

  • A Process Engineering degree (or equivalent) with extensive process design experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • RPEQ or CPEng chartered status.
  • Skills in using ASPEN Hysys and DNV Phast software.
  • Solid knowledge of process safety and the ability to apply it to client operations.
  • The ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and be hands-on, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Strong communication and project management skills to drive projects and client success.
