Position Overview

As a Junior Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Fund Solutions team, which delivers exceptional services to our clientele, encompassing fund administration, registrar and transfer agency functions, performance fee computations, fund accounting, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee client portfolios to deliver hedge and private equity fund administration services, including the facilitation of NAV calculations, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Prepare financial data and schedules for audit purposes; review draft audit accounts, address audit issues, and ensure the distribution of interim and annual financial statements along with other notifications to fund managers or investors.
  • Manage cash flow effectively, monitoring cash transfers for investment requirements, receipt of subscription proceeds, and processing of redemptions and fee charges.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality client service while adhering to corporate policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Proactively cultivate and manage client relationships, conducting meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in reporting execution.
  • Engage with clients and key stakeholders, including legal advisors, auditors, and tax consultants.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in fund accounting and administration or in a corporate accounting environment.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the Junior Fund Accounting Specialist role.
  • Membership in a professional body is a plus.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with conversational proficiency in Mandarin.
  • A collaborative team player who is independent, proactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated, eager to learn, and possesses excellent communication skills.
