About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
    • Evaluate trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business sponsors, project teams, and external partners
    • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and coach project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
    • Develop and implement effective team structures, processes, and governance
  • Risk and Compliance Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures
    • Develop and implement risk management plans, ensuring timely and effective risk mitigation
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects
  • 4+ years of experience in project management within the financial services industry
  • Relevant qualification and/or degree preferred
  • Demonstrated capabilities in time, cost, scope, quality reporting, and governance
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to coach and influence key relationships and stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy, with a sound understanding of Link Group's technology solutions
  • Strong experience in risk and compliance management
  • Ability to lead multiple teams across diverse platforms and locations
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively mobilize resources to get things done
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with Software Delivery Life Cycle teams (SDLC)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Technical Analysts, Business Analysts, and other teams to support project delivery and broader business outcomes
  • Proficient use and implementation of Agile methodology
  • Relevant education, such as PMP Certification (essential), Scrum, etc.
  • Sound proficiency with Jira and Azure DevOps (essential)
