About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lifestyle Officer to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high-quality lifestyle and activities program to residents, stimulating their well-being and meeting industry standards.

The Lifestyle Officer is accountable for implementing an effective Aged Care Lifestyle and Activities Program, providing holistic and individualized care through a lifestyle program in collaboration with residents, families, and the Lifestyle & Activities Coordinator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging programs that cater to residents' diverse needs and interests
  • Fostering productive working relationships with staff, residents, and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment within our facility
  • Cultivating opportunities for resident engagement and community participation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine interest in elderly well-being and empathy for their needs
  • Experience working in aged care or a related field
  • Strong programme coordination skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current certifications in Senior First Aid + CPR and Driver's Licence
