Mental Health Specialist Position in Community Setting

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate mental health clinician to join our team at Clarendon Clinic in East Melbourne.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in community mental health and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
- As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-standard clinical assessment, treatment, and support to individuals and their families, demonstrating exceptional case management skills.
- You will work within the Strengths Model of recovery-oriented practice, building strong relationships with consumers and their carers, and engaging them in care planning and delivery.
- Our ideal candidate will have a background in Occupational Therapy or Social Work, with experience in assessment and case management services in a recovery framework.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy or Social Work
- Clinical Masters in Psychology and current Registration as a Psychologist under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 (Vic)
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in mental health
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
