Senior Banking Risk Investigator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to identify and investigate suspicious activity across our retail and institutional banking products.
Your Responsibilities
- Dive deep into transaction monitoring alerts, Unusual Activity Reports (UARs), and referrals from our Fraud and Scam teams using your analytical mindset to assess behaviors and flag anything that doesn't sit right.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives or support broader Financial Crime Operations projects.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure investigations are structured well-documented and delivered with precision.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the AML CTF landscape and interpret transaction data to build cases that stand up to scrutiny.
About You We're looking for someone with experience in a similar role who has worked in banking operations or operational risk before. If you've submitted Senior Management Reviews or hold qualifications like ACAMS ICA or CCP that's a bonus. You should be a natural communicator confident navigating financial crime processes and have a proactive mindset a genuine interest in financial crime risk and a desire to grow your career in a place that values integrity collaboration and purpose.
