Senior Enterprise Risk Manager

Assuming the role of Senior Risk Advisor, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating the implementation and refinement of our enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework across all operational units.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote collaborative partnerships with business units to implement and continually enhance the Risk Management Framework
  • Deliver high-quality risk intelligence reports and insights for Executive and Board-level stakeholders
  • Oversee the bank's incident management process, encompassing incident management oversight and supporting stakeholders to respond to, investigate, manage and resolve incidents and escalations
  • Engage with first-line teams to elevate risk ownership and bolster their capabilities
  • Provide critical content to key regulatory activities, including the Risk Management Declaration and CPS 220 compliance initiatives

Required Competencies:

  • A deep understanding of risk management frameworks, practices and APRA standards (notably CPS 220 and CPS 230)
  • Experience operating within or advising across all three lines of defence, with a strong working knowledge of risk governance structures
  • Experience contributing to risk reporting or regulatory assurance is desirable
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
