Trade Counter Team Member

We're seeking a Trade Counter Team Member to join our team in Concord.

As part of the Trade Counter team, you'll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects. Your role will involve providing excellent customer service and information about our products, as well as undertaking various tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.

A typical day for you might involve:

  • Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
  • Picking orders, maintaining shop floor displays, and ensuring information provided is accurate
  • Helping to keep the branch tidy and safe
  • Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • The ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and ensure information provided is accurate
  • A clean, valid driver's licence and a willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
