Lead Construction Claims Manager

As a Lead Construction Claims Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams that carry out digital/virtual/in-person assessments of properties insured by our client to determine cause, coverage & repair of damages.

About the JobThis multi-award-winning company is seeking multiple candidates to fill Assessing Team Leader positions within their Home Claims team. As an Assessing Team Leader, you will report to the Building & Assessing Team Leader and be responsible for the end-to-end management of allocated claims.
Your Key Responsibilities- Establish the cause of damage as well as determining the scope and cost of repair to insured properties while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Manage direct reports to achieve great outcomes for internal & external stakeholders.
- Develop your team to excel in accuracy, compliance, project management, software usage & techniques through coaching and improvement.
- Be the point of contact to resolve complex & escalated claims to support your team.
- Work with HR and your direct reports to regularly evaluate performance and collaboratively improve.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Construction trade qualifications or experience working in a similar position.
- Computer competence (skills testing may be required).
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced high-pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business.
- The ability to prepare construction & damage repair quotes and estimations (training provided).
- Completion of a background check during the interview process and proof of full working rights in Australia.
- Proven experience leading teams.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
