We are a volunteer-based emergency service dedicated to safeguarding lives and fostering safer communities. As the lead agency for Floods, Storms, and Tsunamis in NSW, we provide versatile and widespread emergency services to the state.

Mission-driven with over 10,000 volunteers, we strive to support and protect the diverse communities of NSW through community preparedness and response initiatives.

About You
  • Possess qualifications or significant relevant experience in Government Relations, Communications, or a related field, coupled with strong knowledge of government interactions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a skilled communicator with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Apply strategic thinking to manage complex issues and provide clear, concise advice.
